Sub Structure – The Little Boltons

Underpin and temporary support existing semi-detached residential home.  Work included formation of an additional 1800 sq feet of accommodation, sauna, gym and subterranean swimming pool.

Structural alterations to existing 1930’s building for construction of new flats and penthouse with underground parking.  Work included cutting back existing balconies, forming new insitu concrete stairs to new floor, cutting back existing concrete car ramp plus widening to form easier access to car park.  All work executed with noise restrictions as the Bombay Palace Restaurant on the ground floor remained opened during all structural works.

• Remove roof covering including screed and insulation
• Design and install temporary supports to all concrete structural floor during structural alterations

• Cast new reinforced concrete stairs from basement to ground floor & seventh to eight floor

• Cut openings in floors for new extract fans
• Diamond saw cut 600mm of edge of car ramp
• Form new reinforced concrete walls to support existing concrete frame
