Enabling works

Earthwork support and attendance to an archaeological excavation to remove burials to allow the construction of a new day facility with basement and upper floors to St Pauls Church.

Basement walls

Formwork and reinforcement in preparation for waterproof concrete for the construction of a sub-terrain swimming pool and leisure facility to a private house. This structure will be completely hidden by the reinstatement of the garden with one metre of topsoil and patio area.

Top-down construction

Construction of an underground swimming pool to the rear of a Victorian terraced property. The ground floor slab was constructed first and then the walls and basement slab were formed, saving 25 ton of temporary work in a restricted conservation area.

Sunken garden

Underpinning, excavation and retaining walls to form a sunken garden in a restricted Knightsbridge dwelling.

Frame

Trench sheeting and frame to allow the excavation of a shaft for deep drainage.

Basement excavation

Enabling works and access to allow the commencement of a new basement.

Where possible Patterson Construction will excavate using mechanical means other than by traditional means
